Dance, Dance, Dance!

Susan, my second born and only daughter, is my dancer.  She loves anything to do with dancing.  In fact, the first word she said as a baby was "Dada".  Her second word...dance.  I'm not joking!  I recently downloaded some new songs onto my ipod and the kids have been taking turns listening to it.  She had free reign of the ipod on Monday when she was home sick, so she listened and danced to her favorite song over and over.  I had fun watching her.

I'm currently learning how to create a stop-motion video for a project I'm working on.  I thought it would be fun to do one with her dancing to her song.  Unfortunately, because the day was overcast, I didn't have great light and the flash would freeze up on me, but I got some great shots of her!  I plan on using these as art for her bedroom.

God's Goodness and a Sneak Peak.

I am so excited about what the Lord is doing with real.life.photography right now!  I've had some great shoots recently and a fresh idea is in the works.  I can't wait to reveal it in a few weeks!!  I look forward to what the Lord is going to do in the lives of so many women through real.life.photography.  Have I peaked your interest???  Keep checking in to find out more!

It's been challenging trying to balance exercise, work, family and my relationship with God, but I've done it.  I've found that if I put God first everyday and make my family second, that everything else falls into place.  God ALWAYS blesses obedience!

I shot a beautiful wedding this weekend.  The weather was wonderful, perfect for an outdoor wedding.  I'm in the middle of editing the pictures, but here's a sneak peak for the family.

Finally, happy birthday to my wonderful husband!  I couldn't do this without his support, provision and him being more than willing to watch our passel of kids while I'm out for hours at a time.  {I LoVe YoU, StEpHen!}

Happy St. Patrick's Day, Everyone!

Lady M

Oh my goodness!!  I had a photo session with Lady M yesterday and she wanted nothing to do with me, posing, or having her clothes off!  It's a good thing that I have a house full strong willed kiddos!  With lots of patience, comfort and quick thinking and fast shooting, mom and I pulled it off.  I think we made a great team!  Thanks, K, for letting me capture these memories for you.  M is a little doll!  God has an awesome plan for this cute little fire cracker!

Twins

I had the privilege of taking pictures of twin baby girls last week.  I have a special place in my heart for twins because my last two children are twins.  These girls reminded me so much of my boys!  The bigger of the two is calm like my big one, Drew, and the smallest is loud and spunky just like my Ben.  I had lots of fun with these two.  Mom was great to work with and was willing to let me try anything I had in mind.  Thanks, Erin, for allowing me the opportunity to capture these memories for you.  I hope you enjoy them forever!
